Middle-aged romantics usually baulk during the notion of speed dating or apps that are notoriously blunt Tinder, making the look for love even more complicated.
However now a dating platform committed into the over-50s is intending to change that.
The Lumen application, launched here this week, was created to respond to the issues expressed by over 50s on traditional sites that are dating.
Analysis discovered that 7 of men and women would feel more content conversing with some body by having a verified profile, therefore all Lumen users must upload a selfie which will be cross-referenced along with their photographs.
